The Indian women’s 4x100m relay team, comprising of Merlin Joseph, Jyothi, Dutee Chand and Srabani Nanda won the gold medal in the 3rd Indian Grand Prix at Sree Kanteerva Stadium in Bangalore today. Meanwhile, Indian men’s 4x400m men’s relay team created a new National record which helped them leapfrog to 13th place in the world ranking, while the women’s 4x400m relay quartet clocked their best timing in recent times and climbed back to their world ranking of 12th position.
